Charlie Winner
Corporate Humorist
I am a corporate humorist who tells the story of office life. But before that, I was a dynamic executive. I worked for 20 years in large companies like Publicis and Capgemini and in small startups that raise a lot of money. My name was Charles de Saint Remy. I was searching for meaning while doing my job satisfactorily. And one day, I went on stage at a corporate event ("Le Talk") at the Gaité Lyrique. That was the spark that overflowed the vase. The next day, I enrolled in the School of One Man Show, and I decided with my open space friend Alexandre des Isnards (author of the bestseller "The open space killed me") to tell the story of office life. I created the character of Charlie Winner, the anthropologist of open spaces. Very quickly, my sketches hit the mark. I joined the artist lineup of the Big Show for 2 years, then I attended the clown school of Samovar. The theater Le Bout then offered me a programming of my show "Lost in open space" which, despite strikes, yellow vests, and lockdowns, will be extended twice. I performed in Avignon in 2022 and played my show 120 times in Paris and in the regions. I also participate in comedy lineups and festivals. To stay in touch with companies, I created the studio Winner Inc. with which I produce web series and magazines that tell their transformation. And I intervene in corporate events to lighten the atmosphere. I talk about the new organization of work: onboarding, flex office, video calls, remote work, afterworks... I facilitate transformation through laughter. My conferences are profitable. Funny Conference on the New Organization of Work
I introduce myself as an office life coach and I ignite the room with advice, data, and playful educational quizzes. During the conference, I will answer the questions that your colleagues are asking (which we will have previously selected together): - how much should you give for a farewell gift for someone you don't know? - how to find your place at the office when you no longer have one? - should you sign your emails with 'cordially' or 'yours'? - why does everyone criticize corporate language yet still use it? - can my impostor syndrome be seen from afar? - why can't we relax during video calls? - how to manage a to-do list? This list is not exhaustive. But it is authentic.
Surprising Report on Your Culture
This conference is aimed at an internal audience. I present myself as an anthropologist of open spaces, and I draw up a surprising report on your organization. I base it on the "chouquette interviews" of your collaborators conducted beforehand, and on your presence on social media. From this, I create an impressionistic portrait that tells the story of your organization's culture. This surprising report brings laughter and connection. Here are roughly my benefits listed in 5 bullet points: - I untangle tensions - I bond collaborators - I create a kind memory - I convey messages - I facilitate changes
