Delphine Luginbuhl

Team Cohesion Expert - Author of "The Power of Connection" (Kawa) and "Cultivating Optimism" (Eyrolles)

speaker-picture

From a young age, I have been fascinated by what unites people: teamwork, protecting the most vulnerable, the power of laughter. My love for mathematics propelled me into scientific studies: as an engineer from École Centrale Paris, I started in a large industrial group. The positions were interesting, the challenges numerous. But I was missing the essential: meaning, humanity, connection. So I took a turn. I trained in systemic coaching, then became an occupational psychologist. I discovered positive psychology, the science that explores what makes individuals and groups function well and thrive. Today, I am a speaker and I support leaders and managers who want to build cohesive, engaged, and motivated teams. With a conviction rooted in data: according to the Gallup report 2026, only 8% of European employees are truly engaged at work. This figure is not a fatality, it is a starting point. My approach is based on a triple training (engineer, psychologist, and coach) and on 25 years of field experience — from operational management to Diversity, through strategy, customer relations, and human resources — and on the F.O.R.C.E.© method, which I developed to help groups create lasting and concrete connections. I formalized this approach in "The Power of Connection", published by Kawa in the Lespeakers collection — my first solo book, after three co-authored works with Eyrolles ("Cultivating Optimism", "I Stop Giving Up on My Dreams" and "Too Good, Too Stupid?"). My interventions are designed for participants to have a truly good time, and I put a lot of humor into them. Not only because laughing together is already creating a connection, but especially because emotion is what moves and anchors us. We remember what we felt, rarely what we only heard. Conference #1

The Power of Connection

Engagement is eroding. Collaboration is running on empty. Teams are moving forward, but without real energy. Does this resonate with you? No drama, no open crisis. Just this little shift. This diffuse thing that makes us work alongside rather than together. That forms silos. That dulls the desire. And yet… according to the Gallup 2025 study, engagement can be multiplied by 7. Thanks to something essential that we often forget. This "something," we will explore together in a conference designed as a living experience. I invite you on a journey to the heart of what truly connects us. Not an abstract stroll, no. A concrete, structured path, rooted in the reality of your teams. A moment to recreate that connection where it has stretched, break down silos, awaken the desire to work together. To bring life back where functionality has taken over. Why is connection the great forgotten in our organizations? How does it act, deeply, on motivation, cooperation, performance? And above all: how to revive it concretely, here and now, with simple, actionable, contagious keys? Managers, collaborators, established or cross-functional teams: this conference is aimed at all those who want to work better together, with more meaning, more pleasure, more impact. For an hour, I will take you on a journey. With my triple perspective as an engineer, coach, and psychologist, to blend energy, high-level insights, lived stories, concrete tools... and a good dose of humor! Familiar scenes, where everyone finds a piece of their daily life, and levers you can test the very next day. And for those who want to go further: tailor-made workshops to anchor the learning, nourish the dynamics, and elevate the collective!

Conference #2

Diversity, Optimism, and Humanity in Action

What if we bet, within teams, on the complementarity of talents, the quality of human connection, and the vitality of a resolutely positive approach? An optimistic and pragmatic approach, where everyone contributes their piece to the collective puzzle. Where differences no longer divide but nourish common intelligence. Where we inspire each other to innovate, decide, and move forward together. In this conference, I invite you to move from displayed diversity to lived diversity. To transform differences in viewpoints into levers of cooperation. To bring back humanity, trust, and momentum where organizations have sometimes become rigid. Why does diversity become exhausting when it is not supported? How is optimism a powerful and concrete lever for better collaboration? And above all: how to create collectives where everyone can truly find their place and contribute fully? For an hour, I will take you on a lively experience, grounded in the reality of your teams. Familiar situations, moments of awareness, simple and immediately actionable keys. Managers, collaborators, cross-functional teams: this conference is aimed at all those who want to make diversity a driving force, optimism a collective energy, and humanity a true lever for sustainable performance.

Who am I?

What I did before becoming a speaker

What made me become a speaker

At 5 years old, I wanted to be a garbage collector, to work in pairs and chat at the back of the truck. At 6, I wanted to be a police officer, to protect the good from the bad. At 7, I wanted to be a clown, to make people laugh. At 8, I started to really enjoy doing math, and I had the clear impression that it reassured my mom, so I continued. My professional path is the story of a desire to evolve at the crossroads of humanity and performance. An engineer from École Centrale Paris, I first explored the diversity offered by a large industrial group: interesting and varied positions, but where I was missing something. This "something" became clear to me the day I dropped the mask during an assessment to say: "I don't really know what I'm doing here." This is how I took a bold turn, returning to study Work and Health Psychology at the University of Paris 8 and training in systemic coaching. Through various encounters and readings, I discovered positive psychology, which studies the conditions that contribute to the flourishing and optimal functioning of individuals, groups, and institutions. Today, I am a speaker, coach, and trainer. I accompany men and women seeking professional and personal fulfillment, and I developed the F.O.R.C.E.© method for companies wishing to strengthen their teams' cohesion, develop their employees' talents, and (re)give them a smile.

A failure or turning point that shaped me

A mixed assessment that made me realize that I did not want to pursue a "traditional" career.

What excites me about working as a speaker

Human contact and the energy that emanates from the audience.

The mission I'm carrying today

Putting the human back at the heart of work.

The belief or message I want to leave for the long term

You hold the precious power to revive the bond in your work collectives!

A personal story I often tell

The childhood dream that still follows me

My memory of speaking in public for the first time

The values that guide my life off stage

L'amour, l'optimisme et l'humour.

What a normal day looks like for me

How I recharge between engagements

The passions and interests that are part of my life

The advice that most impacted my life

What I'd tell myself ten years ago

What I'm most proud of, beyond my résumé

Mes 3 filles, sans hésiter une seule seconde.

Positioning & expertise

What concrete problem I can help your audience solve

I help organizations solve a silent but costly problem: the gradual disengagement of teams. Not open conflict, not a dramatic resignation, something more insidious. Teams moving forward without energy, collaborations going nowhere, silos forming without anyone deciding it. This slide erodes motivation, cooperation, and performance long before the indicators sound the alarm. My conviction, supported by the Gallup 2025 study, is that engagement can be multiplied by 7 when we tackle the real cause: the weakening of the human bond at work. This is precisely where I intervene: understanding why the bond has weakened, and giving teams concrete keys to recreate it sustainably.

Why book me rather than another speaker?

Because I don't come with an off-the-shelf model to impose on your teams. I come with three intersecting perspectives (that of an engineer, a coach, and a psychologist), which allow me to read what is really happening in a group, to understand its mechanisms in depth, and to propose immediately actionable levers. What participants remember is the rare combination of rigor, embodiment, and humor. Concepts that illuminate, stories that resonate, tools that we test the very next day. Not a conference that is forgotten the next morning! And because the bond is not just my current topic: it is the common thread of all my work, for years, in the field with real teams.

My specialty in one sentence

I transform functioning groups into teams that truly engage by putting the human bond back at the heart of work.

My unique angle

My journey is a bridge between two worlds: the rigor of engineering and the depth of psychology. And all with humor!

The field experience behind my message

25 years of experience in business in various roles and fields (management, project management, technical, marketing, HR, consulting, coaching...).

My speaking style in one or two sentences

Theory that enlightens, anecdotes that hit home (drawn from the field as well as personal life), and a good dose of humor that ensures people have a good time and remember the key moments. We reflect, we recognize ourselves, we laugh... and we leave with something.

Which audiences get the most from my sessions

I adapt the content of my interventions to the audience, which means they can suit everyone: leaders, managers, employees... I often speak at annual seminars, with employees at all levels.

Which types of organizations I'm the best fit for

I adapt to the audience and can therefore intervene for any type of company. I am particularly relevant for companies where processes take up a lot of space.

Concrete outcomes your audience can expect after I speak

The audience leaves with two things: a new energy (the renewed desire to truly move forward together) and concrete tools from the F.O.R.C.E. method, actionable the very next day. Not just inspiration that evaporates: a real, individual and collective mobilization.

The method, framework, or philosophy I stand for

I rely on the F.O.R.C.E. method, which I developed based on my years of field experience, and on a philosophy deeply rooted in positive psychology: starting from what works, amplifying what is going well, and creating the conditions for people to want to move forward. No overwhelming diagnosis, no list of what is dysfunctional, but an energy oriented towards the possible, with humor as the common thread so that the message truly settles in.

Results & credibility

Career highlights I want to emphasize

Rather the variety of my career than particular highlights: I managed an operating agency, was the D&I manager of a company with 40,000 people, was a marketing and HR project manager in a large industrial group... And also, all the training I have followed in parallel, to become a coach and psychologist.

Clients and sectors that have trusted me

It's very varied. Some companies that have trusted me: EDF, SNCF, IBM, Chanel, Safran, RATP, La Poste, Crédit Agricole, AÉSIO Mutuelle, Action Logement...

What organizers and audiences tell me most often

A positive energy that is inspiring, with concrete tools!

Where I shine most — and when I point you to another option

I excel in front of large audiences with varied profiles. I would recommend another speaker for audiences that wish to maintain a serious and institutional approach.

What I spotlight beyond my profile (book, certifications, proof, etc.)

I published the book "The Power of Connection" with Kawa editions and co-authored 3 books published by Eyrolles, including "Cultivating Optimism". I am certified in Positive Psychology applied to the world of work, Process Com, Appreciative Inquiry, Lego Serious Play...

Speaking style

My energy on stage

Hyper positive and communicative energy.

How audiences experience my sessions (participation, humor, pace)

My conferences are always interactive: the audience is engaged, not just spectators. The rhythm alternates between moments of reflection, recognized scenes that make people smile, and interactions that create connections even in the room. Humor is not just a dressing: it serves the message, disarms resistance, and creates an atmosphere where everyone dares to recognize themselves in what is said. We leave with the impression of having had a good time, having really learned something, and having concrete tools to implement.

Visuals and personal stories: what to expect from me

Yes, whether it's the photos I choose for the slides, or the very embodied anecdotes I tell. I share many stories, whether they are those I have experienced directly or those of people I have accompanied in coaching.

Inspirational keynote vs hands-on workshop; improvisation vs tight structure — how I work

I completely adapt to the needs of my client, from the inspiring keynote to the 3-hour workshop. I am a precise structure, but I love to improvise based on what emerges from the audience during the intervention.

How I customize content and how much I tailor to you

Of course, the content is customizable based on client issues.

What makes my sessions memorable

What we feel, we remember. My interventions are designed to touch as much as they provoke thought, because emotion is the best ally of memorization. Between the scenes that make people laugh, those that resonate with participants' experiences, and moments of collective awareness, the audience experiences something. Moreover, a good shared moment leaves a lasting mark in collective memory.

Format

On-site, remote, or hybrid: what I accept and prefer

I am accustomed to all formats (in-person, remote, hybrid) and adapt my content accordingly. I have a preference for in-person, which allows for fully experiencing collective energy!

Limits & transparency

How I handle tough questions and running over time

I meticulously keep track of the time allotted to me. If my time is reduced at the start, I will remove certain parts of the conference. And for difficult questions, I remain open, truly listen, and always respond with sincerity.

What can derail a session, in my view — and how I prevent it

The risk of not being able to connect with the audience. I guard against this by establishing that connection right from the start, and extending it throughout my intervention through exchanges with the audience and chosen anecdotes.

Logistics & organization

What technical setup I need on site

A projector, a microphone, and good sound equipment.

Whether I travel internationally and if I need an interpreter

Yes, I speak fluent English and can intervene internationally.

My slides, filming, and reusing recordings

I provide my slides. For recording and reuse, it's to be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

My availability before/after, networking, meet & greet

With great pleasure. Also to sign my books if needed :-)

Working together

Why organizers like working with me

I am very responsive, reliable, and have a great sense of client relations.
