Co-hosting the POwR Earth Summit with Barack Obama - March 2024
Fanny Agostini was the master of ceremonies for the opening night of the POwR Earth Summit 2024, held on March 13 at CNIT Paris La Défense, an event that brought together 1200 participants to listen to Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, in a question-and-answer format for over an hour. This first edition of the POwR Earth Summit, dedicated to accelerating the energy transition, took place from March 13 to 15, 2024, and welcomed over 10,000 people to public round tables, featuring more than 100 internationally renowned speakers including Valérie Masson-Delmotte (IPCC), Bertrand Piccard (Solar Impulse), François Gemenne, and Fatih Birol (Director of the International Energy Agency). Fanny orchestrated the opening night by creating an engaging and inspiring atmosphere. She notably led a participatory ritual before Obama's arrival, inviting the 1100 participants to stand up, interact with their neighbors, thus creating a collective dynamic conducive to exchange. Barack Obama: "Before March, let’s take care of the Earth first!" She clearly positioned the central issue of the evening: "Certainly, we want to hear President Barack Obama, but above all, we are all convinced that we must move away from fossil fuels.
