Conference #1

Beyond Clichés, 20 Years of Creative Joy

Through 20 iconic images, Franck shares his moments of joy before, during, and after the creation of photographs, during their dissemination, and how they have helped him find his life path. A conference driven by the joy of creation. Photographer by revelation. After graduating from AgroParisTech, Franck Vogel embarked in 2002 on a photographic world tour that led him to a completely different career than the one he was destined for. His adoption in Kenya by a Maasai chief, meeting Pity, a 3-year-old living in a village in the Indian Himalayas at 4,270 meters altitude, the serenity of Buddhism, and the contemplation of fishermen helping each other in an Indian river... propel him into a life of committed storytelling. Ambassador by nature. For over 20 years, Franck Vogel has been dedicated to witnessing, transmitting, and inspiring. As a photographer, filmmaker, and senior reporter for international press (Paris Match, Geo, Stern, Bloomberg, France Télévisions..), he is the ambassador of the Bishnoïs, an ecological people he brought to light through Rajasthan, the Soul of a Prophet (2014), a documentary that won the Phoenix d'Or and the Terre Sauvage Prize. Journey in fullness. This conference offers a journey exploring the years, encounters, and continents. Through the eyes of a committed artist, who does not hesitate to travel with only his backpacks and camera, each shot tells a story of men, women, traditions, Earth, coexistence, and joy.

Conference #2

Awaken the Bishnoi Within You!

Franck Vogel, a renowned photojournalist and a prominent witness to the climate movements of our planet, invites you on a journey through the story of one of the most defining encounters of his life: the Bishnois, a people from Rajasthan who have been willing to die to save an animal or a tree since the 15th century. Beyond the exciting discovery of a little-known people, the Bishnois embody through their unique history the capacity of humans to adapt to their environment, to learn to do better and differently in respect of the Earth, provided that it is done together and within a clear framework. Humanity, sustainability, the strength of the collective, innovation, adaptation to change, and self-transcendence are the key themes of this breathtaking journey. As a messenger, Franck Vogel has committed in recent years to convey through his incredible images and simple words the strong values carried by the Bishnois, convinced that, in this period of intense change, their philosophy and more broadly the lessons learned from his travels could inspire all those who must adapt now more than ever. The story of the Bishnois, in a parable connected to the transformation issues we are experiencing, inspires us and awakens in each of us the desire to surpass ourselves, "Awaken the Bishnoi Within You!" is undoubtedly the conference not to be missed. You will also discover the "Bishnoi Model," which provides practical keys to help businesses adapt.

Conference #3

Border Rivers, Water a Vital Issue

Inspire your collaborators and raise their awareness about water preservation through the great rivers. Water is a precious resource that will only increase in value in the coming years. Unfortunately, we continue to relentlessly pollute rivers, seas, and oceans, and countries are increasingly fighting to control territories rich in freshwater. Transboundary Rivers are at the heart of the issues, tensions, and water wars. With the ambition to raise global awareness about access to water, photographer Franck Vogel decided to launch this major photographic project around eight emblematic rivers, each with its own specific issues. His investigation began in 2012 with the Nile and the controversial Millennium Dam project in Ethiopia. He continued with the Brahmaputra, followed by the Colorado, the Jordan, the Mekong, the Ganges, the Zambezi, and finally the Danube in 2019. During this conference, Franck Vogel will present how he became interested in Water and Rivers following an initiatory journey, before introducing the 8 rivers. He will particularly focus on the Colorado, the only river that no longer reaches the sea, to better understand the keys to the problem and how to address it. He will conclude with the positive example of the Danube before finishing on a poetic note. The conference will be followed by a debate with the audience.
