Gaël Meunier
I am Gaël Meunier, a passionate speaker with a rich and varied experience in personal challenges and adventures. My journey, marked by a battle with cancer in 2012, has given me a unique perspective on life and taught me the importance of living in the moment and fully harnessing our potential.
At 15, I had cancer that I fought against. In the hospital corridors, I saw a poster of a man who had also gone through the illness and had climbed Everest. This poster was a trigger. Ten years later, I took on sports challenges. And upon returning, I went to put up my own poster in the hospital rooms to motivate sick children to believe that it is possible to overcome. My name is Gaël Meunier and I have three professions. On one side, I undertake sporting adventures, from which I produce documentaries and books. (Crossing the Alps, the Caucasus, and the Pyrenees by paragliding, Lyon-Istanbul by bike, the High Atlas on horseback, 200km trail running, crossing the Alps on ski touring over 80 days) On the other hand, I speak in companies on the themes of audacity, resilience, and optimism. And I am an entrepreneur, I have set up two entities. The first, Latitude Experience, is an association aimed at transmitting the values of adventure through event evenings, in Paris at the Grand Rex, in Lyon and in Annecy. The second offers CODIR seminars combining strategy and adventure. It is the alliance of leaders who are experts in strategic consulting and adventure enthusiasts, who offer 48-hour off-site seminars to help solve management committee issues. A passionate adventurer, with a rich and varied experience in personal challenges and adventures. Different projects from 1 to 4 months: Crossing the Alps, the Caucasus, and the Pyrenees by paragliding, Lyon-Istanbul by bike, the High Atlas on horseback, 200km trail running, crossing the Alps on ski touring over 80 days) I give conferences on themes of audacity, resilience, and optimism. My presentations are enriched with anecdotes from my solo and group expeditions. These concrete stories bring a tangible dimension to my teachings, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in captivating adventures and draw applicable lessons for the professional context. My goal is both to entertain through my anecdotes and especially to convey a message centered on my values, on what I learn during my solo or group expeditions. To stimulate motivation, inspire self-overcoming, and promote a culture of audacity within your company. I am convinced that engaged and bold teams are the engine of innovation and growth. I intervene on key themes such as leadership, decision-making, the notion of choice, risk-taking, entrepreneurship, and vision.
