Diplômé de l’Ecole Spéciale Militaire de St Cyr, de l’Ecole de Guerre et de l’ESCP Europe, le colonel de Sercey a servi pendant 30 ans dans l’armée française. Durant 13 ans, il a servi en unité opérationnelle, dont 9 ans à la célèbre Légion Etrangère, une troupe d’élite et atypique. Il y a exercé des fonctions de commandement, jusqu’à 1000 légionnaires. Il est parti en opération à 4 reprises, en Afrique, dans les Balkans et en Afghanistan. Comment la Légion Etrangère est-elle capable de générer de la cohésion entre des soldats de 150 nationalités différentes, des étrangers prêts à donner leur vie pour un drapeau qui n’est pas le leur, à recruter dans tous les pays du monde et à former des profils aussi différents avec une telle efficacité ? Il est coach et conférencier depuis mai 2023 et il témoigne de son expérience de chef militaire en s'appuyant sur des anecdotes vécues, savoureuses, impressionantes et toujours touchantes par leur humanité.

As a former colonel who served for 30 years in the French army, including 9 notable years in the heart of the Foreign Legion, I had the privilege of commanding and leading men in some of the most demanding environments in the world. From my years leading up to 1000 legionnaires, deployed in complex theaters of operations such as Africa, the Balkans and Afghanistan, I have learned fundamental lessons on management, leadership and team cohesion.
