Jonathan Labarre Kari Toftesund
Adventurers
Passionate about humanity since always, Kari began her career as a psychotherapist. Having traveled the world alone, she learned from different cultures and opened her mind. Focused on support, she found certain keys to better understand the human brain and push it into its best dispositions. Attracted to the outdoor environment, it was a logical step for her to combine adventure and mental performance. With a background as a military personnel, manager for a sports brand, firefighter, and fire and first aid training manager, Jonathan has various strings to his bow. Stress management, leadership, crisis management, and team management are different skills he has acquired throughout his journey. Passionate about the outdoors and sports in general, he then turned to a career as a mountaineer before opening up to adventure in a broader sense. Together, Kari and Jonathan highlight the lessons learned during their expeditions in extreme environments to apply them to the business world and everyday life in an innovative and authentic way. They will not only talk to you about their adventures and expeditions but rather about how to achieve personal and professional goals, decision-making, adaptability, and why you will find all the answers you seek on the other side of your comfort zone. With their combined experiences and a hands-on approach along with their sense of humor, they will captivate your attention. The way they share their experiences, good or bad, shows that they are human. You will easily identify with this duo.

Making Discomfort the Key to Success
This conference focuses on the rewards that can be found as soon as one dares to step out of their comfort zone. Have you ever thought about what would happen if we stopped being bound to ease? You will receive specific keys and methods acquired during their expeditions to implement this in your own life, while Kari and Jonathan will take you on a journey showing how tough learning is sometimes inevitable. The greatest successes and the fastest development occur outside of your comfort zone; it is the only place where things really start to move in the right direction. The right attitude and mindset will allow you to see possibilities rather than limits. Kari and Jonathan will show you that when you think you have reached your limit, you can still go much further.
