Resilience: the art of turning your back on probability
Life pushes me early on to travel around the world. I quickly develop a great curiosity for humanity, its emotions, its experiences, its strategies. I then feel constrained by beliefs and powerful mechanisms whose source and manual I cannot see. Something is not free. I then embark on a quest that will lead me to seek outside of myself, until life teaches me. 2023. After spending 40 years trying to control my existence, I find myself in a hospital bed, freshly amputated from my feet and hands. I see my deepest fears engulfing me, and my most stubborn beliefs exploding. What then appeared as a cataclysm will ultimately be the awakening I have always awaited. Two years later, I become the first quadruple amputee to reach the summit of Mount Fuji. What if we finally learned that it is behind the veil of experience, behind the temptation to prejudge the setting, in surrender and total trust at the heart of every situation, that elevation lies, the gift of inner transformation? How to look at the limits we believe we have, how to embody the power we are in our choices of perception regarding the unfolding of events… Turning our back on probability means refusing to look through the keyhole of fear or logic. Life scoffs at preconceived ideas, it escapes all rules. By choosing to embrace the impossible, it brings forth the unexpected. And to manifest to us, it only waits for one thing: it must first be our choice.

Resilience: The Art of Turning Your Back on Probability
What if we finally learned that it is behind the veil of experience, behind the temptation to prejudge the setting, in surrender and total trust at the heart of every situation, that elevation, the gift of inner transformation, lies? How to look at the limits we believe we have, how to embody the power we are in our choices of perception regarding the unfolding of events, how to walk with life? Life has never been a struggle, and it never will be. Turning our back on probability means refusing to look through the keyhole of fear or logic. Life scoffs at preconceived ideas; it escapes all rules. By choosing to embrace the impossible, it brings forth the unexpected. And to manifest to us, it waits for just one thing: it must first be our choice.

Who am I?
What made me become a speaker
I never thought I would do this job. It was not in my little personal plan. Following what is called my "life accident" which I now qualify as an initiatory trial, I let go of all my preconceived ideas and all desires to decide for myself. Life came to seek me for this job.
What excites me about working as a speaker
The sharing is two-way. We always learn together.
The mission I'm carrying today
Awakening consciousness about the laws of life. Transmitting the desire to walk in the truth of Self. We often hear that nothing is impossible. But are we really aware of how much? Do we really know what we are talking about?
The belief or message I want to leave for the long term
The unlimited potential of a human being lies in their ability to see the magic of life and to be willing to learn its laws.
A personal story I often tell
Duck farming in Papua... (!) My life story, of course :-)
Positioning & expertise
Why book me rather than another speaker?
I have lived my content down to the depths of my cells. Saying that one must be resilient is one thing. Being able to explain the process and why it is within the reach of every human being is another.
My specialty in one sentence
Our entire life, in all areas, depends on our perceptions. Whether one wants to know how to go through and understand a trial or simply to stop believing that one must fight against circumstances, I address those who feel the power they have within them and wish to awaken it.
Topics I don't cover
None. The power of humanity is universal, regardless of the field.
My speaking style in one or two sentences
I know how to address with gravity and humor the deep layers of being, touching on the truths about human fears and doubts that govern existences and thus the entirety of this world so far.
Which types of organizations I'm the best fit for
No categorization. I address all humans. And behind companies, there are first and foremost humans.
Concrete outcomes your audience can expect after I speak
An awakening of the inner fire, of inspiration, sometimes without being able to explain it. And concrete keys for the continuation of existence.
Results & credibility
Career highlights I want to emphasize
Two years after my quadruple amputation, I was the first quadruple amputee to reach the summit of Mount Fuji, I launched my conferences, and I resumed a performance dance activity. I do not seek to convince. I simply explain how I transitioned from a constrained life, a life of fears, limits, and efforts, to a freedom that grows every day and allows me to live and bring forth what I am made for.
Clients and sectors that have trusted me
I have intervened in associations, community groups, private companies, medical establishments, and the school environment. I can provide the list upon request for reference.
What organizers and audiences tell me most often
Looks and tears speak. And when there are words, the immediate reactions indicate that my interventions seriously make people reflect on how they view their own past, present, and future life ("how have I used my potential so far? Did I really have a perception that allowed me to reap the fruits of all my traumas?" etc). I also receive longer-term reactions, where people have embarked on projects they had been postponing for years.
Where I shine most — and when I point you to another option
I am designed for large and medium-sized audiences. I appreciate the question-and-answer sessions at the end of the intervention, which allow for a deeper dive into the concrete, and into considerations that may sometimes seem personal yet concern us all.
Speaking style
My energy on stage
The verbatim is as follows: "impactful, sunny, inspiring, funny, accessible, authentic".
How audiences experience my sessions (participation, humor, pace)
During my interventions, the audience travels within themselves. Through my journey and the prompts I direct towards them, they can revisit their past experiences, learn to differentiate between the voice of their mind and that of their inner fire, and share the joy of laughter that this essential type of subject implies.
Visuals and personal stories: what to expect from me
Sometimes a few videos or photos are projected during the conferences. Of course, my personal journey of transcendence is the common thread.
Inspirational keynote vs hands-on workshop; improvisation vs tight structure — how I work
I love both formats. I do not have a precise structure; the conference is always unique. It shapes itself according to the energies present in the audience. The audience unknowingly participates in the construction of the conference with their energy.
How I customize content and how much I tailor to you
Yes, the content is customizable. The examples, the focus on methods can be adapted according to expectations or issues. But the priority for me is to adapt the content based on the audience present in front of me and to let myself be inspired by the moment.
What makes my sessions memorable
The awakening of the inner fire is not something that can be easily described with words.
The strongest moments and insights I create for audiences
The audience is marked by the alternation of moments where we seek the feelings experienced by humans when they believe they are living something difficult, then this magic of life that operates provided it is chosen. This is nothing esoteric; we all have the power. For many people present in the audience, it is often the first time these questions are addressed within themselves.
The emotion or mindset I want people to leave with
The awareness of the richness of a life, regardless of the perspective one may have had on it so far. Our choices of perception define it. And the wonderful thing is that it is always time to change one's perception of the past to modify one's present and future.
Concrete content
The main takeaways participants leave with
The importance of our choices of perception and their concrete consequences on our life. How to learn to no longer endure life, to learn to walk with it. Recognizing the inner voice amidst the voice of the mind. Among others.
What your audience can apply the very next day
Everything.
Myths and common mistakes I debunk
The myth of limits, the myth of collective thinking, the myth of the comfort zone. Among others.
Real-world examples that best illustrate my message
My life journey.
Format
On-site, remote, or hybrid: what I accept and prefer
All modes of sharing are sharing, so I can do in-person or remote.
Limits & transparency
How I handle a difficult or low-energy audience
That has never happened to me so far.
If tech fails: how I respond
That has happened to me! :-D This seemingly unfortunate situation taught me to cope with the unexpected, and we even laughed a lot about it with the audience.
How I handle tough questions and running over time
There are no difficult questions. All topics are approached with kindness and authenticity. People recognize themselves in the difficult passages, and that is precisely what they appreciate at the end of the performance. Regarding time overruns, this is addressed with the organizers before the event.
What can derail a session, in my view — and how I prevent it
What can cause a conference to fail or make it bland is writing something immutable that one would deliver every night as if all audiences were the same. A high degree of authenticity, humility, courage, and fine perception of the moment can never lead to failure, provided we agree on the definition of failure.
