My Journey to Carbon Sobriety: Goal of 2 Tons!
The level of CO2 emissions per person per year that must be reached to limit global warming to less than 2°C by the end of the century is 2 tons, while we are currently at 10 tons. But is this achievable? What are the constraints or benefits? I share my feedback on my journey from 10 tons to 2 tons of CO2 per year. Starting from the graph of the average carbon footprint of a French person, which details where the major sources of carbon emissions are, I humorously present my personal experience in drastically reducing emissions from each of them: transportation, food, housing, and consumption. Some concepts such as minimalism are also discussed.
Saving 60% of Water is Easy!
Drought episodes and climate change are causing numerous failures in the supply of drinking water. About a hundred municipalities have already declared a shortage or tension in drinking water supply. Although there has been an overall decrease of 10% in withdrawals over the last 10 years, thanks to significant savings from all users (individuals, communities, industries, and agriculture), better management and optimization of the resource, significant efforts remain to be made to ensure that our withdrawals do not exceed the recharge capacity of withdrawal points. From the kitchen to your garden and the bathroom, discover the various solutions and methods that exist to drastically save drinking water. These devices are rooted in your daily reality, a need for comfort and profitability goals. With the aim of broadening the fields of possibility and providing simple and accessible solutions for all, Pascale LEFEBURE proposes to introduce you to the immediate applications of technology in the service of water savings in our homes. This conference also adapts to different sectors to present tailored solutions for the tourism sector, corporate offices, hospitals, etc. Creator of the Water Performance Diagnosis, to go further, feel free to follow our 8-hour professional training on water savings (https://formations.eco)
