Pierre Monclos
HR Director - Expert in digital learning @ Unow & Author of the blog RH42.co
As HR Director and Expert in digital learning at Unow, I support companies in the digitalization of professional training. Digital learning allows for the development of skills through digital and collaborative training, which is very different from traditional e-learning. I believe that by applying digital codes to professional training, companies will equip themselves with effective means to progress in the transformation of jobs and the evolution of employee skills. I am also a speaker and trainer in the following areas: HR, training, corporate culture, digital HR, recruitment, feedback, and compensation. I also address new ways of managing HR, topics that I also cover on my blog www.rh42.co

New Ways to Manage HR
How to manage human resources in 2019 to take into account the evolution of companies and the expectations of candidates and employees? Traditional HR management is no longer suitable for today's organizations and expectations. New HR practices, particularly those born in Silicon Valley, inspire companies and startups, but are not always suitable as they can be too radical. This is the cliché of unlimited vacation, which, once implemented, tends to result in fewer employees actually taking time off. To adapt HR management today and consider the strong expectations of candidates and employees, it is necessary to find a middle ground. I propose to share my experience from my 5 years at Unow as HR Director, enriched with examples from other inspiring startups I encounter daily: Alan, Agricool, Margo Bank, Lucca, LiveMentor, etc. It all starts with company culture: once formalized (through real values), it translates into every area of HR, and I will provide very concrete examples (notably on recruitment, training, compensation, work flexibility, and managerial interviews).
