In this dynamic conference lasting from 7 to 60 minutes, we explore the power of action in our lives. Every day, with 1440 minutes and 86400 seconds at our disposal, how we use them distinguishes those who achieve their dreams from those who do not. The conference begins by examining the internal dialogue that can inhibit action, followed by a reflection on the cycle of life. We start and end our existence with a significant action, and it is between these moments that our life unfolds. The heart of the conference focuses on the scope of our actions and decisions. We discuss the importance of our brain, a major energy consumer and an essential engine of our movements and decisions. Depending on the allocated time, I share strategies to encourage action: mindset, self-discipline, commitment, and energy management. The goal is to create a mental environment conducive to action and to motivate everyone to act. In conclusion, the conference emphasizes this inspiring truth: "a dream without action is a fantasy." At the Heart of the Nurse
What makes the nurse's power? So many entrepreneurs would dream of having staff as committed as nurses are in their daily mission. We saw this during the last two years with Covid. No equipment, no knowledge of the pathology, no proper organization, little recognition. Yet these professionals organized themselves to be as efficient as possible. The rest we know. Some say they are "heroines" but they refuse to take on this role. Some applauded them every evening at 8 PM, but they did not ask for that much. With all humility, they respond, "I do what I know how to do, and I know what I have to do". In this motivational and thank-you conference, I propose to my audience, mainly composed of these professionals, to enter the matrix of the nurse to give them some reflection points on what makes their power, their difference. Some speak of vocation, but should we stop at this definition that tends to put them in "cornettes"? Let us not be mistaken, they are far from having entered the orders. I have practiced this nursing profession for over 35 years, in all its forms: in surgery, in emergencies, in intensive care, in hospitals, in clinics, at home, in schools, at Club Med, in the elite unit of the National Navy commandos, in repatriation, in humanitarian work, in liberal practice... I have loved this profession, I have defended it for over thirty years of unionism. Today, with my mental preparation hat on, I have analyzed this profession according to the formula "I bandage therefore I am". I therefore provide elements for reflection, share my vision of the profession, and some surprises specifically addressed to them. I am the actor of my development
We all have multiple lives, and that is what makes it rich. I started my professional activity at 16 as a market gardener, nurse, soldier, unionist, actor, coach, entrepreneur of several companies, a holding company, and here I am as a speaker. My expertise lies in the stage as a comedian for over thirty years and in business as an entrepreneur. I chose to be a speaker to share in my own words, on stage, my expertise for the benefit of the greatest number. I am a speaker who always carries his artist's suitcase because it helps me remain who I truly am, a creator of energy. Energy, after all, is the force in action. That is why the actor of life and stage loves this word: A C T I O N !! And indeed, my action through this conference is to offer an awareness of all the masks we put on in today's society, in our own companies, regardless of the position we hold. If the neutral mask of the stage actor is a training tool to enhance one's performance, perhaps the mask of the life actor is a tool to try to grow one's SELF? But do we really need it all the time? Isn't it better to know how to identify them and play with them? This motivational conference opens the field of possibilities. Identifying the masks we wear is to offer humanity the most beautiful place there is. Becoming aware of the masks we wear changes the way we see ourselves and takes the risk of defining ourselves in the immediacy.
