Vanessa Marcié is an expert in Humor & Leadership, founder and CEO of Leading With Humor, an innovative consulting firm that helps leaders harness the power of humor in their change management strategies. Vanessa is an international speaker and a pioneer in humor-based change theories. Her work bridges entertainment, business, and research. She delivers over 25 talks a year in France and abroad. Since 2019, she has reached over 8,000 people. She has worked with numerous large organizations in both the private and public sectors, such as Unilever, LinkedIn, Inmarsat, BPI France, Qwant, and the UK Department for International Trade. She is a guest speaker at several prestigious business schools and universities: Cambridge Judge Business School, HEC Paris, London Business School, Oxford University, Toulouse Business School, and Edhec Business School. Her main message: If you want to accelerate your company's or your career's success, you must understand the art and science of humor in leadership. She has been published in The Financial Times, The European Business Review, La Tribune, and Harvard Business Review France, Welcome to the Jungle, ELLE Magazine, and Le Parisien. She is affiliated with the Cambridge Wo + Men's Leadership Center and is a member of the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (IKE Institute). She is also a finalist for the PWN Global Gender Balanced Leadership Awards 2019. Vanessa has been invited twice to be a TEDx speaker (TEDx ESADE Barcelona 2021 and TEDx Cambridge University 2021). Vanessa Marcié is also a comedian. She has created two comedy clubs in London and Cannes, where she regularly performs. In 2020, Vanessa was appointed a resident academic by The Hopenclass, a cultural and creative space for (un)learning, and she is also a resident expert in humor and inclusive leadership for Voice at the Table, a gender diversity and inclusion consulting firm. Vanessa is the author of the book "The Power of Humor: Developing Leadership, Building Trust, Mastering the Art of Wit" published by Eyrolles. Vanessa is also a certified coach and trainer in Laughter Yoga.
