The Hidden Power of Solitude in the Workplace.

In a professional world seeking performance and balance, solitude is a topic often overlooked, even though it profoundly impacts individuals and organizations. This conference offers a unique reflection on solitude at work, whether experienced by leaders, managers, or employees. Alexia Borg explores this feeling from an innovative angle, personifying it as the "asshole of solitude" in her book "Solitude is an Asshole - (But It's Good News)" — a toxic entity that insidiously influences our decision-making, interactions, and our ability to innovate. She reveals how this phenomenon acts as an invisible brake, but also how it can become a driver of creativity, resilience, and transformation when understood and tamed. Through concrete examples and practical solutions, this conference will provide companies with keys to: -Identify the signs of endured solitude among their employees and leaders. -Transform solitude into a space for reflection conducive to innovation. -Create an organizational culture that values the necessary moments of retreat for informed decision-making. Target audience: Leaders, HR managers, managers, and anyone concerned with improving well-being and collective effectiveness in the professional environment. Conference objectives: -Raise awareness among companies about the unknown impact of solitude on performance and engagement. -Provide concrete tools to integrate this reflection into managerial and HR policies. -Reveal how managing solitude can be a competitive advantage for modern organizations. Her interventions are dynamic, engaging, and bring real added value to audiences.
