Gaël Chatelain-berry
The creator of the concept of benevolent management and benevolent company
After more than 20 years in the corporate world as a manager of teams ranging from 20 to 200 people, at TF1, CANAL+, NRJ, iConcerts, or INA, I have observed that the well-being promoted by management is a source of productivity, creativity, and engagement from my collaborators. For over 6 years now, I have been writing and giving conferences to evolve their management by integrating the notion of benevolence into it to achieve Feelgood Management! As a speaker, I regularly intervene in companies during conferences that are both funny and based on reality above all... we generally come out a little different than before. (Sodexo, Renault, Safran, CNP, Thales, Société Générale, La Poste, and many others have trusted me). I also train managers in short cycles to make them aware of the necessity of implementing benevolent management. I am an author, a novelist for a long time, but now an author of books on management. "My boss is useless, but I can fix him" was released by Hachette Marabout in 2017 and quickly became number 1 in management book sales. Since then, I publish one or two books each year with the goal of making daily life in the workplace more enjoyable! My latest "serious" book: Well-being for Dummies, in the famous black and yellow collection. My latest novel: Be a man, my daughter. Finally, I am the author of the Happy Work Podcast, the most listened-to French-speaking podcast on well-being at work.

Changing the Company: Daily Well-Being & Kindness in the Workplace
THE PITCH: Directly inspired by the book "My Boss is Useless, But I Can Fix Him", this conference provides the keys to well-being at work through simple changes that can be implemented daily. We are all actors of well-being in the workplace. Whether through significant actions or small gestures like relearning to say "hello". This conference tells the story of a day in the life of BoB. Bob is the worst manager that the corporate world has ever (had to) endure. Yet, upon closer inspection, it is not so complicated to transform him into a kind, more effective, more attentive manager, and above all: more zen. This conference offers very concrete ideas to improve one's daily life at work, whether one is a manager or managed. In a light tone, I address very serious topics that concern us all. Objective of the conference: to provide extremely concrete means to change one's daily life starting the next day by becoming an actor of one's own well-being while also being an actor within the company. - knowing how to keep time for oneself to maintain a good work-life balance - knowing how to show interest in others and adapt to their constraints - knowing how to challenge one's habits - knowing how to give feedback (positive or negative) to one's teams (topics addressed throughout the conference) - learning to manage one's manager - knowing how to adapt to one's interlocutor - understanding the different generations (X, Y, Z) - knowing how to generate creativity - knowing how to organize and stimulate one's teams - knowing how to demonstrate impeccable ethics - knowing how to organize one's work - being an actor of one's own well-being in the workplace - being an actor of gender equality and fighting against sexism
