Jérôme, or the engineer who sold in 6 languages Jérôme Faytre is an atypical engineer. Welcoming, he enjoys human relationships and maintains a mindset of constant analytical thinking. It is difficult to define him by a profession – he has been an engineer, salesperson, translator, and innovator in turn. It is also hard to define him by culture – he is comfortable all over the world – but he is proud of his roots and describes himself as a 'global franchouillard'. He is interested in a multitude of subjects and remains a great curious person – an asset in sales and innovation. Jérôme does not consider himself a super seller, as he is aware of his many limitations. At best, he sees himself as an extraordinary salesperson. In innovation, it is primarily the search for pragmatic and immediately applicable solutions that motivates him. Jérôme also teaches technical creativity at engineering school and is the originator of several patents.
