Laurent Bernat - Speaker on resilience
Former paratrooper non-commissioned officer who survived an attack, I share my experience of resilience and leadership.
Are you wondering how to turn a devastating ordeal into an indomitable strength?
I am here to show you.
As a former paratrooper non-commissioned officer, deployed in Afghanistan in 2008, I was a victim of an attack.
80 kg of explosives detonated 20 cm from my vehicle.
A split second.
A monstrous blast.
And nothing more.
I could have never returned.
But the real fight began afterward.
→ Weeks of hospitalization.
→ Years of physical and mental reconstruction.
→ Severe PTSD that changed everything.
I had to rebuild everything – my body, my mind, my future.
After surviving this attack, I chose not to let this event define my life.
Instead, I drew from this experience to forge unwavering resilience and unyielding determination.

The need to help and to share.

And conferences are the best way!
