Lorene Ferrandes
Sensory Experience & Neurodiversities
Speaker and trainer for professionals on issues of neurodiversity and the appropriate environment. As the French ambassador of the international My XXY foundation and an expert in sensory experience, I assist professionals and companies in reflecting on an adapted sensory environment to optimize the care of their patients for a holistic practice. My field experiences and personal journey drive me today towards a sensory approach to the environment of neurodiversity to benefit everyone; every place will need to be aligned with humanity and especially be able to support individuals in their physical or intellectual progression, leaving nothing to chance in what makes our brain serve itself.

My Definition of Autism
Autism is like a disco ball, at every angle of light a vessel goes off in an unexpected direction...
Ideal Company?
The model of the ideal company is based on a deeply human foundation, where each individual can contribute their unique input and actively participate in the functioning of the company. In this environment, everyone can feel the meaning of their work and feel useful, which creates a genuine emotional connection with the company. This approach is not limited to those who are already well-established, but also extends to those who are in more precarious situations, as integrating people in difficulty strengthens the human dimension of the company and reinforces its commitment to the society in which it operates.

From Stigma to Strength: Unleashing the Power of Neurodivergent Minds
Being too much or not enough is often frowned upon in society. There's often a fine line from difference to divergence and from divergence to stigma. However, despite appearances, neurodivergence is not always a handicap. It is, in fact, a strength: individuals with ADHD are often capable of hyperfocus and have remarkable creativity. Those with autism often excel in analytical thinking, logic, and perseverance, while individuals with 'dys' conditions often develop compensatory skills such as creativity, problem-solving, and visual thinking.
Neurodiversity: What is it?
Ladies and Gentlemen, I invite you today to explore a topic that encompasses both human diversity and its influence on the professional environment: neurodiversity. Before we dive into this discussion, allow me to encourage you to reflect on a few cultural references. Who among you is not familiar with landmark cinematic works such as "Rain Man," "Forrest Gump," "The Lighthouse of Orcas," "I am Sam," "X+Y," or the hit series "A Good Doctor" and "Big Bang Theory"? These cinematic productions transport us into varied universes, often inhabited by characters who stand out due to their uniqueness. I could also start our exchange by inviting you to identify the common thread among eminent minds such as Pascal and Nietzsche, legendary scientists like Newton and Einstein, visionary artists like Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, as well as contemporary figures such as innovators Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. What unites these historical and fictional figures is their neurodiverse uniqueness and that they are all men. But what does it concretely mean to be neurodiverse?
