After a decade of working as a compensation expert within the CAC 40, Sandrine Dorbes founded her consulting firm How Much in 2020, because in how much there is first how. Convinced that compensation is not just a matter of money, she supports female and male leaders and HR teams in designing relevant and effective compensation policies. The European directive on pay transparency (2023/970) is now at the heart of her activity: diagnostics, compliance, job classification, and analysis of pay gaps. She is the author of two books published in 2025: Compensation is Not Just a Matter of Money (Dunod) and Pay Transparency: A Survival Guide for Those Who Lead (Éditions Oxymore). A certified independent director, she is also interested in the link between governance and the role of the HR function. She regularly speaks at conferences, workshops, and training sessions, particularly at the School of Life Paris where she leads the sessions "Getting to the Point" and "Being Rewarded at Your True Value". Her approach: deconstructing preconceived ideas, making technical subjects accessible, and providing leaders with concrete benchmarks for decision-making.
