Solenne Niedercorn-Desouches is the founder of Finscale, an independent platform dedicated to the transformation of finance in Europe, which combines media, conferences, masterclasses, and advisory activities. Through more than 350 conversations with leaders in global finance - CEOs of banks and FinTechs, investors, regulators, and market infrastructure leaders - Solenne Niedercorn-Desouches observes and analyzes the profound changes in the financial sector. Her conversations explore the deep transformations in the financial sector: payments, FinTech, private markets, infrastructures, European sovereignty, and governance. Her work leads her to regularly engage with leaders from institutions such as Mastercard, Worldline, Société Générale, Estreem (joint-venture BNP Paribas & BPCE), as well as investment funds and European venture capital players. She also collaborates with industrial partners like Revolut Business as part of her Finscale activities. Before creating Finscale, Solenne worked within major international financial institutions, notably UBS and Lombard Odier, and then in the European venture capital ecosystem with Fabric Ventures, where she participated in the structuring and governance of funds. Today, she serves as a board member and advisor to funds and financial organizations in Europe. She also supports the structuring of investment vehicles, the governance of start-ups and scale-ups, as well as executive teams facing technological and strategic transformations. Solenne Niedercorn-Desouches regularly engages with banks, investment funds, strategic management, and boards of directors to decipher the changes in finance and their implications for governance, decision-making, and institutional resilience in a fragmented European environment. Appreciated for her ability to connect technology, finance, and leadership, she offers a systemic view of ongoing transformations and helps organizations anticipate the evolutions in their industry. Her work is based on a conviction: "The strength of an institution depends not only on its capital or compliance but on the quality of its decision-making circles."

Finance 2030: The Infrastructure Revolution Beyond Digitalization

For the past fifteen years, finance has seemed to simply be digitalizing. In reality, it is undergoing an infrastructure change: Instant payments, blockchain, artificial intelligence, new financial platforms—these technologies are reshaping value chains and giving rise to a new generation of players. Through over 350 conversations with leaders from banks, Fintechs, and critical infrastructures, Solenne Niedercorn deciphers how finance is transforming deeply and why this mutation will determine the competitiveness of economies in the years to come. From inside the bank to the privileged observatory that Finscale has become, this conference offers a strategic reading of the finance of tomorrow. Who is this conference for: - leaders of financial institutions - FinTechs and technology companies - investors and funds - public decision-makers and regulators - business leaders facing digital transformation Key ideas - Why finance is experiencing an infrastructure revolution, not just simple digitalization - How new players are reshaping value chains - The role of AI in the emergence of new leaders - The competitiveness challenges for Europe and its financial centers What’s in it for me? Participants leave with a clear understanding of the transformation of finance and strategic signals to watch for anticipating changes in their sector.

Conference #2

A Financier and Zen Walk into a Boardroom

Organizations value rational analysis: data, models, algorithms. Yet, the decisions that truly change the fate of a company rarely rely solely on numbers. They emerge at the intersection of analysis, intuition, and understanding of human dynamics. This conference explores the often-invisible dimension of leadership: the ability to articulate rationality and intuition in a world where decisions seem increasingly guided by algorithms. Inspired notably by the work of Carl Jung on intuition and decision psychology, as well as contemporary research on mindfulness and attention, Solenne Niedercorn and Alexis Desouches offer an original perspective on decision-making in organizations. Their dialogue intersects two realms rarely brought together: finance and strategic governance on one side, mindfulness practices and a nuanced understanding of human dynamics on the other. Who is this conference for? - leaders and entrepreneurs - investors and board members - managers and team leaders - organizations facing complex or uncertain decisions Key ideas - why data alone is not enough to make the most important decisions - the limits of models and algorithms in complex environments - how intuition works in experienced leaders - the role of attention, perception, and emotional intelligence in the quality of decisions - how to develop a clearer and more aligned leadership posture in the face of uncertainty What’s in it for me? Participants leave with: - a clearer framework for making decisions in complex environments - concrete tools to better articulate rational analysis and intuition - a better understanding of the psychological mechanisms that influence strategic decisions
