Ambre Hasson
Franco-American offshore racing navigator, Ambre Hasson offers conferences inspired by her journey at sea
Franco-American offshore racing navigator, Ambre Hasson has followed an unconventional path. After several years in the startup world in New York, in demanding and uncertain environments, she discovered sailing as an adult and decided to engage in offshore racing. Her experience has been built through medium and long-distance races, solo and double-handed, on various racing boats (Mini 6.50, Figaro 3). She has achieved several podium finishes in Mini 6.50 and a 4th place in a 1,500-mile race in Figaro 3, confirming her ability to perform over time, under pressure, and in uncertain contexts. She then crossed the Atlantic solo during the Mini Transat, an iconic event that combines endurance, autonomy, and constant decision-making. The loss of her first racing boat marked a major turning point in her journey: rather than giving up, Ambre chose to rebuild and continue her path. Before fully dedicating herself to sailing, Ambre worked in the startup ecosystem in New York while engaging in endurance challenges such as marathons and triathlons. These experiences, like offshore racing, have shaped her relationship with effort, long-term commitment, and perseverance. Through her conferences, Ambre Hasson shares a tangible vision of audacity as a decision — the permission one gives oneself to dare, sometimes against the tide — and resilience as a skill that is built through experience, trials, and repetition. While part of her adventure is lived in solitude, her success is deeply collective. She highlights the essential role of support, trust, and community in any ambitious project. Her talks are aimed at companies and organizations wishing to examine their ability to decide in uncertainty, to endure in effort, and to mobilize the necessary human resources to see their projects through.
