Author & Speaker specialized in employee caregivers

speaker-picture

Graduated from IEP Sciences Po Paris and the University of Paris 1 - Panthéon Sorbonne, with over 15 years of experience in the corporate world in communication, I became an employee caregiver in 2015. My experience as an employee (employment & caregiving), combined with my knowledge and understanding of the workings within organizations, allows me today to support employers facing the challenge of active caregivers; a challenge that impacts both the collective performance of the company and the individual well-being of the employee-caregiver. My mission: to intervene in companies to encourage them to proactively address the issue. As a caregiver-expert within start-ups such as IA Medical and Monka (specialized in assisting caregivers), and very engaged in the caregiver community (Compagnie des Aidants, jury of the Je t'Aide collective, white paper on caregivers), I am able to raise awareness among all stakeholders involved in supporting caregivers and active caregivers, while understanding the specific issues of each stakeholder (management, employee-caregiver, trade unions, management, HR...). Finally, I am the author of two works on the subject of caregiving, "The Helping Relationship", co-written with Sophie de Mijolla, emeritus professor at Paris VII, published in June 2023, as well as a practical guide based on my experience titled "Becoming the Parent of Your Parent. Or Almost. I have also created two podcasts to facilitate access to information for caregivers.

Conference #1

October 6: Act for Employee Caregivers!

As INSEE reminds us, France has never been so aged: → Today, there are 15 million people aged 60 and over; → By 2030, there will be 20 million; By 2060: 30 million, including 5 million over 85 years old. Consequences for companies? → Employees will become employee caregivers. An employee caregiver is "a person who regularly and frequently helps, on a non-professional basis, to carry out all or part of the acts or activities of daily life of a person losing autonomy, due to age, illness, or disability." Ministerial guide for caregivers/ministry of economy → today, 1 in 6 workers is a caregiver (DREES and strategie.gouv); By 2030, it will be 1 in 4! ...However, more than 70% of French companies do not anticipate this! The tsunami of employee caregivers in companies will affect all sectors. Without distinction. The question is: do you want to sink (team n°1) or ride the wave to turn this societal phenomenon into an opportunity for your company (team n°2)? If you belong to Team n°2, contact me and let's move forward together to meet the challenge of employee caregivers in your organization! As both a caregiver and a corporate executive, I understand the difficulties faced by employee caregivers, managers, and teams. You can count on me for awareness conferences that integrate the constraints of the various stakeholders and which can thus transform perspectives and approaches to the inclusion of employee caregivers.
