speaker-picture

Who am I? At just 19 years old, I have already lived several lives. Diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of two and a half, I went through years of intensive treatments that made me lose almost all of my sight. Yet, where many would have seen a fatality, I found my greatest drive. Surfing became my refuge, then my conquest ground. Today, I am a triple World Champion of Parasurf, including 2 times in a team with the French National Team, a 4-time member of the French Team, and I had the immense pride of carrying the Olympic Flame in 2024. My approach to conferences On the waves as on stage, I navigate by intuition and mental strength. Accompanied by my indispensable and faithful guide dog Pita (with whom I form the duo "LouPita"), I intervene in companies to shake up certainties with freshness, humor, and great maturity. Far from tearful or guilt-inducing speeches, I offer a true breath of fresh air. My goal? To prove that we can transform every failure and every fall into a vector of progress. Through my story, striking anecdotes, and playful situational exercises, I help your collaborators to put things into perspective, to adapt, and to see inclusion not as a constraint, but as an opportunity for collective performance. My favorite topics: Resilience & Overcoming oneself: How to transform a trial (illness, professional/personal setbacks) into a driving force for life. Inclusion & Changing perspectives: Deconstructing biases about disability and understanding that diversity is the primary lever of collective intelligence. Performance & Sport differently: Winning without sight, developing intuition, trusting others, and strengthening team spirit beyond differences. Autonomy & Trust: Lessons from my partnership with my guide dog to recreate connection and trust in the workplace. Why choose me for your event? "An inner strength, a rare lucidity, and a determination that inspires well beyond sports." This is how the leaders who have trusted me (France Travail, Carsat, Engie, Ceva Santé Animale...) describe my interventions. Whether for a seminar of 600 managers or a small committee workshop, I promise you an authentic, sparkling, and profoundly human moment that will leave a lasting mark on your teams.

Transforming Obstacles into Power: The Art of Listening to Your Inner Voice

"What would you do if you only had 18 minutes left to live?" It is with this powerful question that I start this conference. At the age of 2, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After 5 years of intensive treatments and 120 chemotherapy sessions, I lost my sight, but not my life. Today, at 19, I am a three-time World Champion in Parasurfing. How does one go from a hospital bed to the highest step of a world podium? By learning to create silence around oneself to listen to one's "little voice". The one that whispers our boldness when the rest of the world, our fears, or prejudices scream the impossible. In this conference inspired by my talk at TEDxBordeaux, I share with your collaborators my life journey and my experience as a high-level athlete to invite them to a radical change of perspective. Through my story, that of my loss of sight and my rebirth thanks to surfing and my guide dog Pita (my indispensable partner), I address the storms we all go through: pressure, failure, fear of the unknown, and the gaze of others. What your teams will take away from this intervention: • The boldness of intuition: Learning to listen to oneself and to trust oneself to unleash true potential, beyond the limits imposed by society or oneself. • The power of the collective: "One voice alone is beautiful, but voices that respond to each other change the world." Understanding the importance of the ecosystem, solidarity, and team support to bounce back in the face of adversity. • Changing the perspective on difference: How to transform what isolates us (illness, disability, failure) into a true invitation to meet and a driving force for the group. • A breath of oxygen and relativity: An authentic and unfiltered message to help your collaborators take a step back from their daily challenges and rediscover the joy of engagement. 🏄‍♀️ The Exclusive Option: The Immersive Workshop in "Reduced Reality" Depending on the number of participants and the logistical possibilities of your event, this conference can be complemented by an exclusive experiential awareness workshop: a simulation on a surfboard in "reduced reality" (simulating my visual impairment). The benefits of this "Live My Life" workshop for your teams: • Developing action empathy: Understanding concretely (and not just intellectually) the adaptation efforts that disability requires in daily life, thus making the notion of inclusion perfectly tangible. • Letting go and stress management: By being deprived of part of their visual references on an unstable surface, your collaborators learn to let go of control, develop their intuition, and listen to their little voice to find their balance. • Learning to rely on others: A powerful experience to strengthen interpersonal trust and communication within the group, as it becomes essential to lean on colleagues. • Breaking the ice and freeing speech: Conducted, in rotation, in very small groups (a few people face-to-face around the board), this workshop creates an intimate setting. Where plenary sessions can sometimes stifle questions out of modesty, this close format breaks down all barriers and allows for direct, deep, and taboo-free exchanges. Format: Inspiring conference (Keynote), always followed by a guaranteed "no taboo and no stupid questions" exchange (Q&A), with the possibility of integrating the immersive workshop "Reduced Reality" to extend the experience in a small group. An ideal format to close a seminar, inspire managers, or leave a lasting impression during a week dedicated to QVT, inclusion, or diversity.
