Manager - Speaker - Business and HR, having the courage of conciliation and nuance
I did not come to management through books. I came to it through teams, Monday morning conflicts, difficult decisions to make without a safety net. For over thirty years, I have experienced both sides of the company — business and human — not alternately, but simultaneously, in the same place, with the same constraints. Operational manager. Human resources manager. I do business with an HR hat, I do HR with a business hat. I am convinced: separating the two is the source of most problems observed in organizations. What I bring to the stage is not a theory on management. It is a diagnosis. That of a man who sees from the inside how organizations often unwittingly create conditions that exhaust their managers, weaken their teams, and affect their performance. That of a man who has understood, through experience, that the solution does not come from a new method — it comes from a question that no one really asks. My legitimacy is not academic. It is operational. It is measured in years spent at the executive committee table, in decisions made under pressure, in managers supported in the field. I state the truths as they are — clearly, without detours, with respect for those who know what leading really costs. Those who call on me want to leave with something more than inspiration — a space for reflection and concrete levers for action to better live their role and regain pleasure and impact.

Managers caught in a vice: assert your freedom to act
Today's manager is caught between two fires. On one side, an organization that expects results, performance, governed by numbers. On the other, teams that expect meaning, clarity, presence. Between the two, he — or she — must hold on, perform, motivate. Often alone. It's not always a matter of skills. It's often a matter of conciliation. Knowing how to reconcile both sides of the same coin, while remaining oneself. This is not something learned in training. It is built — provided one knows who they are when managing. This is exactly the question this conference poses. Not to philosophize. But to act. Through an original method — the 4R framework — Thierry takes participants on a journey to the heart of their reality as managers. A journey rooted in the concrete, nourished by real experiences, recognized situations, moments when each one says: "that's exactly it." Participants leave with: a different reading of their role, a clearer understanding of what holds them back, and above all — a zone of freedom to act that they had not identified. Or that they had forgotten. A conference for managers who doubt, for leaders who observe them — and for all organizations ready to face what they truly make those who manage experience.
