Following a termination of my internship contract by a supervisor who misunderstood my disability (DYS disorders), I had to fight to find work 💼. I secured my first fixed-term contract after more than a year of searching, but I returned to the battle afterwards ⚔. Each time, I made the same observation: DYS disorders are unknown to recruiters, and the unknown is frightening. It was time to change things 💪. 6foisdys aims to raise awareness 🎙 among companies, teachers, and the general public about DYS disorders, to create websites 🌐 tailored for DYS individuals and everyone, and to provide consulting around the "DYS" user experience. I turned my disability ♿ into a strength 💪!

Me, neuro-atypical: the secret of my resilience!
My story from the humiliated little girl to the seasoned entrepreneur. DYS and ADHD: these particularities, I have lived with since my birth and I have made them a strength 💪 ! 👩 My name is Aurélie RENARD, I am 31 years old, I am multi-DYS (dyslexic, dysorthographic, dysgraphic, dyscalculic, dysphasic, dyspraxic, and dysexecutive), I have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and I am currently being diagnosed for Autism Spectrum Disorder. My schooling 🏫 and my childhood were not simple. During this time I suffered from school bullying and discrimination. After the early termination ❌ of my internship contract for my master's degree in computer science 💻, I struggled to find a job 💼 (because DYS disorders were not well known by recruiters and HRs), then I finally decided to embark on the adventure of entrepreneurship. In this conference 🎙️, I tell you my story 🎞️ from my birth 👶 to today 🚀 (my daily difficulties but also my strengths 💪).
