François Bert
Former officer, founder of the School of Discernment, author, speaker.
A graduate of Saint-Cyr, former paratrooper officer in the Foreign Legion and creator in 2011 of Edelweiss RH, François BERT supports leaders in their human and strategic decisions. He has professionally guided nearly a thousand people for whom he developed an innovative personality diagnosis method and created the "organizational osteopathy ©" that addresses "human cramps" in management teams. In 2019, he founded the School of Discernment for the benefit of public and private decision-makers. A speaker and columnist in several media outlets, he is the author of four books (The Time of Leaders Has Come (2016), Cote 418 (2018), The Fires of Notre-Dame (2021, Edelweiss Editions) and The Discernment for Those Who Think Being Intelligent is Enough to Decide (Artège, 2023)).

Is it enough to be intelligent to know how to decide?
In the age of artificial intelligence and unlimited sharing of knowledge, never have so many crises existed. In other words, having more ingredients does not necessarily lead to better recipes. How can we move from the complexity of thought to the simplicity of action? Is it analysis, synthesis, consensus... or discernment? We will explore how personality plays a role in this process and how to address it in relation to the environment and one's own inner self.
Manager, leader or boss?
Traditionally, we oppose the manager, who seeks to measure performance, to the leader who wishes for the development of people. In this paradigm, there is a significant absence: the mission. This is precisely the expected role of the boss: to develop a contextual intelligence of the mission within the company. So, manager, leader, or boss? This conference will reconcile these three notions by addressing the following questions: who am I, how do I surround myself, and how do I navigate difficulties?
