Corporate Speaker on Managerial Optimism

At the age of 21, while serving in the military, I decided "to be happy for the rest of my life." A true, thoughtful, definitive, and impactful decision. Then, at 27, with only a G1 diploma and after being hired as a salesperson, I was appointed General Director of a mutual insurance company in Avignon with 75 employees. Given the accounts, I quickly learned that the company was in serious financial difficulty. My managerial skills not being very strong, I made a double decision. One, to share with my colleagues the happiness I wish for myself, and the other, to rely on a resolutely optimistic attitude. In a year, we saved the company. With success on our side, and these two convictions, I turned around the Mutual du Soleil in Marseille, merging it with the one in Avignon to create a group of 350 employees. Subsequently, I created, managed, and developed numerous companies and SMEs through management based on leadership, motivation, and personal development. For over 20 years, I have successfully advised companies on these strong beliefs: "success comes from the well-being of employees and the optimism of the leader." Alongside my leadership roles, I have had the chance to serve for 9 years as an associate professor in Business Strategy and Optimistic Leadership at the Master's program at the University of Avignon. Wishing to share my beliefs with companies and individuals, I became a professional speaker, specializing in managerial optimism. Engaged in societal actions, I was elected National President of the French Junior Economic Chamber in 1990 and then a representative of JCI at the United Nations. An active member of Rotary, I intervene with the Leadership Institute. As the official speaker of the League of Optimists of France, I was appointed delegate of the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region. I founded the League of Optimists of Monaco. In this capacity, I speak at the Spring of Optimism and throughout France to the members of the League of Optimists. As an athlete, I enjoy taking on challenges such as several marathons, triathlons, cycling events, and alpine summits. President from 2016-2017, then 2023-2026 of the AFCP (French Association of Professional Speakers), and Member of the AFACE (Francophone Academy of Authors and Expert Speakers), I give motivational conferences on success and optimism to large private or public companies. During these conferences, I share my beliefs, my experience, and my enthusiasm in Building an Optimistic World.
